Amarion’s Baptism

Filed in Baptism, Review — June 2, 2017

I loved working with Kristie and Rick in planning Amarion’s baptism. What a sweet couple and fun family (and godparents) they have.

Here are Kristie’s comments after the baptism: “Thank you for putting together a wonderful baptism ceremony for Amarion and sharing all the pictures of his special day for us to have and share with him when he gets older. It was a pleasure working with you and allowing Rick and I to customize the ceremony to how we like. I will definitely keep you in mind for any future events for our family as well as refer friends and family.”

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
