Baptism
It is always a delight and an honor to baptize the children of former wedding couples. I married Todd and Lindsay almost 2 years ago. So it was fun to get a chance to see them again and celebrate another milestone in their lives.

Although I officiate a lot more weddings than baptisms, I really enjoy doing other rituals as well. I was a part of Dave and Jenna’s wedding two years ago, so it was a joy to be asked to do a baptism for their one year old daughter, Elizabeth.

I did a baby blessing/baptism today for Megan and Brian’s daughter Piper. Great couple and a very chill, happy baby that did not make a peep during the baptism. (My secret is warm water.)
What does Koru mean?
KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl.
