Andrea and Clayton’s wedding at the Century Barn

Filed in Wedding — May 24, 2015

I had the joy of officiating Andrea and Clayton’s wedding last weekend at the Century Barn in Mt. Horeb.  What a delightful couple and a perfect venue that matched their laid-back personalities.   I work with a lot of photographers during the wedding season and one of my favorites is Errin from Errin Hiltbrand Photography.  She is an AMAZING photographer!  Here are a few of her images she shared with me from this fun wedding.

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
