A stunning wedding for a beautiful couple

Filed in Wedding — October 5, 2017

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these photos Tara Draper Photography took of Kristin and Adam! What a wonderful couple. They were a complete delight to work with and I truly enjoyed getting to know them and having the opportunity to officiate their ceremony. Tara captured them perfectly. And as always, I LOVED working with such fabulous photographers like Tara! These photos are stunning at Olbrich Gardens, the WI State Capitol, and Cento.

Here is what Tara wrote about Adam and Kristin’s wedding:
“A stunner of a wedding this past Saturday in Madison. Kristin and Adam had a simple and elegant sunset garden wedding at the beautiful Olbrich Botanical Gardens with hand-written intentional vows. Pat Fisch-Werk officiated and I love when the ceremonies are personal, how they met and who they are as a couple, and Kristin’s BHLDN dress looked like it was made just for her.

We shot all around the capital and the gardens before the ceremony and the night ended with an intimate group of friends and family at Cento downtown (with one of the best pasta dishes ever!)
Congratulations to you both!

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
