Thank you Kristine and Craig for writing this nice review for me on Google Business. “Rev Pat officiated the most perfect baptism for our daughters, Lia and Alexandra (ages 2 and 10 months). She did an outstanding job and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The ceremony flowed well and the girls easily warmed up to Pat’s calm and welcoming spirit. Our families were also very impressed with the ceremony! We can’t thank her enough!”Lia and Aly were baptized at Bishops Bay Co […]

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
