Here is a sneak peek of photos by Laurelyn Savannah of a sweet couples, Jessica and John, that got married on June 21 at Over the Vines. It was raining just before their wedding began, but Jessica was determined to get married outside so despite the light showers we went ahead with the ceremony. They were such a fun […]
What a beautiful image Jennifer Anderson from Angelic Angles captured for Kate and Chris’ wedding in Evansville where I was the officiant. Kate and Chris got married in Kate’s parent backyard. The flower gardens and table settings were stunning and the wedding ceremony was sweet and very emotional.
I did a baby blessing/baptism today for Megan and Brian’s daughter Piper. Great couple and a very chill, happy baby that did not make a peep during the baptism. (My secret is warm water.)
High five to Red Wave Pictures for capturing the fun and joyful spirit of Kate and Mike and their wedding day on April 12th. They were a wonderful couple to work with and I truly enjoyed being their officiant at Pres House. To see more photos, check out Red Wave’s Facebook page.
This priest really rocked this couple’s wedding with his own rendition of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
Check out this sale for those who would love J.Crew dresses for your wedding party.
How fun to see photos from Jamie and Tom’s wedding in January at Bellini’s, a former Lutheran Church built in the late 1890’s, but has now been converted into an Italian restaurant. (And a great place to host a wedding.) If you want to see more photos from this TERRIFIC couple’s wedding day, check out Shannon […]
I was the wedding planner at Grace Episcopal Church and arranged the flowers at the reception for Mackinnon (Webster) and Eric Engen’s wedding last May. How exciting to see their wedding photos in the new Wisconsin Bride Magazine – Spring/Summer 2014 issue. (Carly McCray was the photographer. She’s amazing, and it is worthwhile checking out […]
CASCIA, Italy — The seamstress gently fastened the ivory-colored silk-covered buttons of the lace corset. She took out the embroidered veil and laid it over the bride-to-be’s long black hair. Girlfriends and family members watched in silence, their eyes glistening. “If you have a dream and we can make it come true, we’ll do our […]
I am always a sap for a good proposal story. This is a sweet one… A boyfriend, Beecher, tricked his girlfriend, April, into making a fun video with him, re-enacting their relationship. What she DIDN”T know was that there was a surprise proposal in store for her at the end.
KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.
At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
