A Very Sweet Thank You Note

Filed in Review, Wedding — June 30, 2019

These photos, by Uttke Photography and Design, from Val and Cody wedding this past weekend at the Bridle Barn and Gardens in Mt. Horeb, really captures the essence of this amazing couple!!  I received this very sweet note from them before the ceremony began:

“Pat- We couldn’t imagine this day without you!  You have been so wonderful to work with, thank you very much for all of your time and help.  We know our ceremony will be amazing because of you!  We will recommend you to anyone. 🙂
Again, we appreciate all you have done to make our ceremony perfect and smooth.
All our love,
Val & Cody”

And here is a really nice review that Cody wrote on The Knot:
“We couldn’t be happier with Pat at Koru Ceremony! We knew about 5 minutes into our first meeting that she was the perfect person to be our wedding officiant. She helped guide us through every step of the marriage process. She provided tools, samples, and guidance to create our own ceremony, but also reminded us of deadlines, provided information about obtaining a marriage license, and was a resource throughout our wedding planning.
She was always a calm and supportive voice before and during our wedding. In fact, she broke her shoe walking up to the ceremony area, but quickly found some tape and made nothing of it. Then she lost an earring moments before the wedding began. She brushed that off and simply put the other one in her pocket to even things out.
No matter what your vision of a perfect wedding ceremony may be, I have no doubt that Pat and Koru Ceremony can make it happen!”

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
