Thank you note from Katie and Allen

Filed in Review, Wedding — August 5, 2018

UPDATE: Katie wrote this very kind and heartfelt review for me on The Knot:

“We are so happy we chose Pat to officiate our wedding ceremony this past July! From our very first meeting, we knew she was the perfect fit! She listened and truly cared to find out about us, our vision for our day and our love story. Pat is organized, detailed and so very kind. She provided us with beautiful words to choose from to create our perfect ceremony and guided us along the way. She attended our rehearsal and did a fantastic job delivering the heartfelt ceremony we were hoping for! You cannot go wrong with Pat! Thanks for everything!”

I received the sweetest thank you note from Katie and Allen. I officiated their wedding at Blackhawk Country Club in July. Their note read:

“Dear Pat, We just wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did officiating our wedding! You are so easy to work with and we so enjoyed our time with you! Thank you for helping our day run so smoothly and for all your hard work up to and throughout the ceremony.”

I also wanted to share their spectacular flower hoop they had for their wedding ceremony. Also, the view was pretty spectacular as well!

What does Koru mean?

KORU (kor-roo) is the Maori word for “loop.” For the indigenous people of New Zealand, the koru spiral represents a fern frond beginning to unfurl. The koru symbol embodies new beginnings, a new phase of life, renewal, hope for the future, positive change, personal growth, working in harmony, bringing people together, and being mindful of the good things in life.

At Koru Ceremony, we strive to personify these ideals and celebrate a new beginning through ceremony and ritual.
